Michael Christopher Tilley a.k.a Chris Tilley was born in Winston Salem, NC 1985 on May 6th.  He lives in Raleigh, North Carolina and started shooting IPSC / IDPA at the age of 12. His dad built Raleigh’s first indoor shooting facility in 1996.  Cazz, one of the instructors at his dad’s range took Chris to his first IPSC match in the summer of 1997.  Nine years later Chris Tilley wins the Open National Championship and does it at the youngest age ever of 21 and is the current National Champion.  Chris is also the youngest GM’s ever to make it at 15 years old.  In 2002 Chris Won the Junior World Championship and held it until 2008 when he was no longer eligible.  Chris Won the first point series in 2003 and over the past 11 years has won over 50 major matches and 2 National Championships.  Over the past 4 years Chris has been improving his teaching ability and has instructed more than 1000 students. 

For the past 2 years Chris learned to skate and play hockey, last season was the highest scoring player in the league.

On June 2009 Chris married his lovely wife Marianna.  They still live in Raleigh and working as a team traveling and competing in matches.
